Abstract

Toplumların gelişmesinin öncül kaynağı ulaşım ağının iyileştirilmesindeyatmaktadır. Kalkınma ve yapılanma sürecinde gerek kitlelerin gerekse yapı malzemelerininsevk ve idaresinde ulaşımın nitelikli olması şarttır.Cumhuriyetin kurucu kadrosu ulusal kalkınma hamlelerinin köylerden başlamasınıngerekli olduğunu düşünüyordu. Bu düşünüşte özellikle o dönemin köyde yaşayan nüfusverileri oldukça etkiliydi.Kalkınma ancak, köylüye projelerin iyi anlatılıp, benimsetilmesiyle mümkünolabilirdi. Bu amaçla köylüye ulaşılması şarttı. Amacı gerçekleştirmeye yönelik ilk çalışma iseköylünün öncelikle ulaşımına yönelik çalışmalar yapmaktı.Bu çalışmada Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında köylerin çevreleriyle ulaşımınıntarihsel değişim süreci anlatılıp, köylerdeki mahsulün pazarlara geliş yolculuğu üzerindedurulmuştur.
