Türkiye'de opera program dergiciliği ve İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi program dergileri üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Kökenleri Antik Yunan'a dek uzanan opera, en temelde, tiyatro ve müziğin, organik bir biçimde örgütlenmesi sonucunda oluşan bir sanattır. Günümüzde öngörülen opera program dergilerinin içeriği hazırlanırken, operanın içinde barındırdığı bu iki sanat formundan yararlanılmaktadır. Batı'da ilk opera program dergicileri, XVII. yüzyılda, opera esnasında okunan librettolarken, XVIII. yüzyılda burjuva kültürünün topluma egemen olmaya başlaması sonucunda, opera program dergilerinde de farklı içerik ve biçim uygulamalarına geçilmiştir. XX. yüzyıla gelindiğinde ise, opera program dergiciliği, tutarlı bir gelişim tarihini muhafaza ederek opera sanatının anlaşılmasına yarayacak anlamlı kaynakları izleyiciye sunmuştur. Türkiye operaları program dergiciliği geleneğinin başlangıcını, ilk olarak Ankara konservatuarının düzenlediği temsiller üzerine hazırlanan dergiler oluştururken, bu uygulama Ankara Devlet Opera ve Balesi'nin açılmasının ardından devam etmiştir. Türkiye'de opera program dergiciliğinin içerik ve biçim olarak Batı'lı anlamda program dergisi hazırlama süreci, İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi'nin başlatmış olduğu uygulamalarla gerçekleşmiştir. İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi program dergiciliği, bir opera eserinin, yalnıza konu anlatımı ve eserle ilgili verilen bilgilerle sınırlı kalmayıp o eserin estetik ve tarihsel sorunlarına teorik bir perspektiften ve çağdaş görsel bir açıdan yaklaşmaktadır. Program dergileri kendi anlamını, sonuç olarak günümüzde bir opera eserinin tarihinin ve onun sahip olduğu geniş ve disiplinlerarası anlamı üzerine inşa etmektedir. The opera, the roots of which extend way back to ancient Greece, is an art, at very basics, formed by integrated combination of theatre and music. At present, in pursuit of accordance with universally esteemed examples, while composing the contents of the anticipated opera program booklets, these two forms of art, which the opera inherits, are utulized. In the west, the first opera program booklets, in the 17th century, while were the librettoes of the operas, as an outcome of the bourgeoisie culture domination overtaking in social structures in the18th century, there has been conversion into a different nature of form and content in opera program booklets as well. Whereas, by acquisition of 20th century, opera program booklet publication preserving a consistant history of development has provided the meaningful source to the audiences to help comprehension of the art of opera. The commencement of the the tradition of opera booklet publication of Turkey rests first on the booklets prepared on plays performed by the Ankara Academy of Music and this implementation has sustained following the foundation of the Ankara State Opera and Balet. In Turkey, the process of publication of opera program booklets in the Western sense regarding form and content, has been realized by the initiation of İzmir State Opera and Balet. İzmir State Opera and Balet program publication understanding does not limit itself only to the description of the subject of the work of art and general information with respect to that work but approaches to the aesthetics and historical aspects and problematics of that work from a theoretical perspective and contemporary visual angle.
