Abstract:
20. yüzyılın dünya çapında tanınmış en başarılı İngiliz bestecisi olarak kabul edilen Benjamin Britten, aynı zamanda piyanist ve orkestra şefi olarak da bilinmektedir. Britten'in sol el piyano ve orkestra için bir konçerto olan Diversions Op. 21 isimli eseri konu (Thema), on başkama (Variation) ve finalden oluşmaktadır. Yeni Klasikçi besteciler gibi "Genişletilmiş Tonallık"dan yararlanan Benjamin Britten, bu eserinde uyguları işlevsel ilerleyiş dışında ele almakta, beşliler çemberini birbirlerine simetrik seslerin bulunduğu bir ses sistemi içinde kullanmaktadır. Böylece eser tınlayış bakımından büyük ölçüde tonal bir izlenim bırakmakla birlikte eseri doğru çözümlemek için tonallık yetersiz kalmaktadır. Beşli aralıklardan oluşturulmuş "çekirdek hücre" olarak adlandırılan birim, eserin dokusunu oluşturmada önemli bir yere sahiptir. "Fa – do – sol" sesleri ile yapılan bu çekirdek hücrenin aktarılmış biçimleri de sık sık kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca koyultu (Fr. nuance) ve düzüm (İng. rhythm) yapısı da eseri biçimlendirmektedir. Eserin bir diğer özelliği de her kesimde farklı bir eksen sesinin kullanılmasıdır. Britten's concerto Diversions Op. 21 was written for left hand piano and composed of ten Variations and Final. Britten who had benefited from "Enhanced Tonality" like New Classical composers used the chords the functional progress and apart from "circle of fifths" which are symetric to eachother. This system was used as linear and chordal. Although the work seemed to be a tonal piece according to the tone, but in order to analyze the work properly the tonality is in adequante to reach a decision. The unit which was composed of quintintervals and called "main cells" were very important to constitute the frame of the work. This "main cells" was made of "fa – do – sol" tones were also frequently used for transpozing. Furthermore, the nuance and rhythm form shapes the work of art via stratification. One of the other feature of work is that the different tones have a central importance in every section.
