Türk sinemasında aile kavramı ve baba oğul ilişkileri

Abstract

Dünyadaki değişimin ve gelişimin hız kazanması ile Türkiye de bir yandan bu değişime ayak uydurmaya çalışırken, diğer yandan da var olan mevcut değerlerini koruma çabasında olmuştur. Bu çalışma süreç içinde aile gibi toplumun en temel kurumunun değişmesi (özellikle baba-oğul ilişkisi yönünden) ve bu değişimin sinemaya etkisinin araştırılması üzerine yapılmıştır. 1950'li yıllarda başlayan göç hareketi, sanayileşme, kentleşme, kitle iletişim araçlarının etkileri, nüfus hareketleri gibi birçok etkenin aile yapıları ve aile içindeki bireylerin ilişkilerine yansıması, toplumdan beslenen Türk Sineması'nda da ailelerin değişimine yol açmıştır. Geleneksel Türk toplum yapısında aile içindeki kararları almada en yetkili kişi olarak görülen baba, sinemada da yine toplumda olduğu şekliyle ele alınmıştır. Geleneksel toplum yapısının cinsiyet ayrımını belirginleştirmesi ile erkek, kadından daha farklı bir konumda yer almış, erkeğin otoritesi tartışmasız kabul görülmüştür. Babanın oğlu ile ilişkileri de yine geleneksel değerler ve ekonomik yapı tarafından belirlenmiştir. Önceleri toprağın sahibi, bu nedenle otoritenin tek temsilcisi olan baba, ekonomik koşulların ve sosyal değişimlerin etkisi ile eski iktidarını kaybetmiş, oğlun babanın toprağı dışındaki iş alanlarına yönelmesi sonucunda baba-oğul ilişkilerinde çatlamalar meydana gelmiştir. Oğlun kendi parasını kazanmaya başlaması, ekonomik anlamda babaya ve baba toprağına bağımlı olmaması otoritenin sorgulanmasını beraberinde getirmiştir. Sosyo-ekonomik süreç bu şekilde işlerken bu sürecin doğal yansıması olan sinema da bu ilişkilere bağlı olarak değişim geçirmiştir. Aile, özellikle baba-oğul ilişkilerinin değişimi çalışmanın temel noktasını oluşturmaktadır. The rapid increase of changes and development in the world has influenced Turkey, too, but at the same time she has been in effort to keepher present values as they have been. This study has based upon searching for the changes in the family which is the basic institution of the society (especially in terms of father and son relations) and the effects of these changes on the cinema or filming. The social changes in the society such as; migration from rural areas to urban zones which started in 1950's, industrialisation, urbanisation, population movements and influence of mass media on the family and the relations of the people within the family have also changed the family structure in "Turkish Cinema" which is naturally fed from the society. In traditional Turkish social structure "Father" is the dominant figure who is responsible for decision making within the family. This status is kept exactly the same way in the scenarios written for the cinema. In this traditional structure, with the clarified sexual role definitions "man's authority" has been approved without dispute. At the same time father and son relationship has also been clarified according to traditional values and economic structure. Father is the land-owner so, he is the sole representative of the authority. Yet, as a result of changes in both social and economic structure, father has lost his power. Son has to look for some other opportunities beyond soil. That has resulted in cracks between father and son relations. Son's starting to earn his own living and not being economically bounded to his father or father's land has resulted in interrogating the father's authority. While socioeconomic structure has progressed on this path, the reflection of this process in the cinema has naturally been similar. Changes in the family especially in father and son relationship is the fundamental point of this study.
