Victoria and albert müzesinde bulunan Kütahya çini eserlerin kataloglanması

Abstract

Türk toplumlarının İslamiyet ile tanışmasıyla beraber tüm sanat dallarında büyük değişimler ve ilerlemeler gözlenmiştir. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminde ise bunun en değerli ve özel eserleri oluşmuştur. Türk çini sanatının en güzel örnekleri bu döneme rastlamaktadır. Çiniciliğin saray sanatı olarak devam ettiği İmparatorlukta , Kütahya'da önemli çini üretim merkezlerinden olmuştur. Türkiye'de 18 ve 19. yüzyıllarda üretilmiş Kütahya Çinilerini müzelerimizde, özel koleksiyonlarda görebilmemiz mümkündür. Aynı zamanda dünyada da özel koleksiyonerler ve müzelerde birçok kütahya çini örnekleri ile karşılaşmaktayız. Victoria & Albert Müzesi'de bunlardan birtanesidir. Yetmişbin seramik eserin korunduğu müzede farklı kültürlere ait birçok eser sergilenmektedir. Burada altmışsekiz adet Kütahya Çinisine rastlanmıştır. Bulundukları bölümde incelenen eserler aynı zamanda Öğrenci Çalışma bölümünde de randevu alınarak incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmada ulaşılan örnekler genellikle Kütahya çinilerinin karekteristik özellikleri dışında farklı uygulamalarında denendiği farkedilmiştir. Tez üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Victoria & Alber Müzesi ve tüm kapsadığı bölümlerin tanıtımı yapılmıştır. Müzenin tüm özellikleri anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde müzenin depolarında bulunan ve sergilenen tüm kütahya çinileri dönem özellikleri ile beraber mimari ve kullanım eşyası olarak ayrılıp tanıtılmıştır. Tezin üçüncü bölümü müzedeki eserlerden esinlenilerek oluşturduğum yeni üretimlere ayrılmıştır. Döneminde, kullanım eşyası olan eserleri yorumlayarak özgün bir çalışma oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Many changes and improvements have been observed in all branches of art with the acquaintance of Turkish societies with Islam. In the Ottoman Period, the most valuable and special works were created in this regard. The most beautiful examples of Turkish tile art belong to this period. In the Empire, where tile-making was considered as a kind of palace art, Kütahya became one of the most important tile production centres. It is possible to see Kütahya Tiles, produced between 14th - 19th centuries, in our museums and special collections. Moreover, in many collections and museums throughout the world, we encounter with the examples of Kütahya tiles. Victoria&AlbertMuseum is one of them. In the museum, where 70.000 ceramic works are preserved, many works of art belonging to different cultures are on display. Here, 67 Kütahya tiles have been encountered. The works, which were examined in their own section, were also gone through in the Students' Working section by making an appointment. In the samples attained in this research, it has been noticed that many different techniques were applied apart from the characteristic features of Kütahya tiles. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, the introductions of Victoria&AlbertMuseum and all its sections have been made. All the features of the museum have been explained. In the second part, all Kütahya tiles, which are included in the stores of the museum and which are on display, have been separated as utilization tools and architecturally and have been introduced together with the characteristics of the period. The third part of the thesis composes the new products that I have created by being inspired by the works in the museum. By interpreting the works, which were utilization tools in the period, a distinctive study has been tried to be made.
