Profesyonel müzik kayıtlarında perde doğrulamanın performansa yönelik etkileri

Abstract

Profesyonel Müzik Kayıtlarında Perde Doğrulama Nedir? Perde Doğrulamanın Performansa Yönelik etkileri nelerdir? Günümüzde Perde Doğrulama Teknolojisi kullanılarak yapılan kayıtlarda Müzisyen, Ses Sanatçısı, Tonmayster, Müzik Teknolojisi çalışanlarının tutum ve davranışları nelerdir? Bu sorulardan yola çıkılarak yapılan bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde Perde Doğrulama Teknolojisi çalışma konusuyla doğrudan ilişkili, temelinde dijital, akustik, elektro-akustik ve müzik teknolojisi ile ilgili temel kavramlar üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde Perde doğrulama teknolojisinin ne olduğu, gelişim süreci, kullanım alanları ve ilk teknikler ortaya konmuştur. Bu bölümün devamında çeşitli perde doğrulama yazılımları üzerinde F-Ölçüm yöntemi kullanılarak, Örnek Melodiyle Başarı Karşılaştırması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler ışığında en başarılı bulunan Celemony Melodyne yazılımı üçüncü bölümün içeriğinde daha detaylı bir şekilde anlatılmıştır. Çalışmanın yine aynı bölümünde ise, alan çalışması sırasında ilgili teknolojiyi kullanan sanatçı, müzisyen, tonmayster ve ses mühendislerinden elde edilen bilgiler yardımıyla Profesyonel Müzik Kayıtlarında Perde Doğrulamanın Performansa Yönelik Etkileri açıklanmıştır. Perde doğrulama işlemleriyle birlikte ortaya çıkan olumlu ve olumsuz eleştirilere de bu bölümde yer verilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, perde doğrulama teknolojisinin kullanılmadığı profesyonel müzik kaydının olmadığına, çoğu albüm kaydında bu teknolojinin kullanıldığına ulaşılmıştır. Perde Doğrulama yazılımlarının kullanıldığını bilen müzisyen ve sanatçıların, kayıtlar esnasında yaptıkları hatanın kolayca düzeltilebileceğini bilmelerinden dolayı psikolojik anlamda rahat oldukları görülmüştür. Tonmaysterler açısından bakıldığında ilgili teknoloji ve yazılımlarının kullanılmasıyla albüm kayıtlarındaki iş yükünde her hangi bir değişim olmamıştır. Bu teknoloji kullanılmadan önce kayıt aşamasının daha uzun, edit aşamasının daha kısa bu teknoloji kullanımıyla birlikte kayıt süresinin kısalıp, edit aşamasının uzadığı sonucuna varılmıştır What is Pitch Correction in Professional Musical Recordings? What is the attitude and behavior of Musicians, Vocal Artists, Tonmeisters and Music Technology employees on recordings made with Pitch Correction Technology? The first chapter of this study that has emerged to find an answer to these questions, the basic concepts directly related to the subject matter of Pitch Correction Technology and basically related to digital, acoustic, electro-acoustic and musical Technologies were analyzed in detail. In the second chapter, what Pitch Correction technology is, how it was evolved, its areas of use and the first techniques were explained. In the following parts of the chapter, Success Comparison with Sample Melody was carried out using the F-Scale method on several pitch correction software. The most successful software in light of the data obtained, Celemony Melodyne, was explained in more detail in the third chapter. In the same chapter of the study, the Effects of Pitch Correction on Performance in Professional Musical Recordings were explained with the help of the data collected by artists, musicians, tonmeisters and recording engineers using the related technology. The positive and negative comments related to the pitch correction and estimation processes were presented in this chapter, as well. The conclusion of the study revealed that there were not any professional musical recordings where pitch correction was not used, that this technology was used in many album recordings. It was observed that the musicians and artists, who are aware that Pitch Correction software was used, are more relaxed in the psychological manner, knowing that the mistakes they make during the recording can be fixed. For tonmeisters, the workload of the album recordings did not change with the use of the related technology and software. Before this technology, the recording process was longer and editing process was shorter and with this technology, the recording time became shorter and the editing time became longer.
