Öğretim teknolojilerinin fen ve teknoloji dersinde kullanımının ilköğretim öğrencilerinin problem çözme becerilerine öğrenme ve ders çalışma stratejilerine üst düzey düşünme becerilerine fen ve teknoloji dersine yönelik tutumlarına ve ders başarısına etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; Öğretim teknolojileri ve materyal destekli fen ve teknoloji öğretiminin, ilköğretim 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin problem çözme ve öğrenme ve ders çalışma stratejileri ile üst düzey düşünme becerileri ve derse yönelik erişi ve tutumları üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Fen ve Teknoloji dersi ?Dünya, Güneş ve Ay? konusunda hazırlanan yazılımın ilköğretim 5.sınıf öğrencilerinin; problem çözme becerilerine, öğrenme ve ders çalışma stratejilerine, bilimsel süreç becerilerine ve derse yönelik erişi ve tutumlarına etkisi araştırılmıştır._x000B_?Ön-test, Son-test kontrol gruplu? modele uygun yarı deneysel bir çalışma olan bu araştırma, 2009?2010 eğitim-öğretim yılında Giresun İli, Keşap İlçesi Cumhuriyet İlköğretim Okulunda beşinci sınıfa devam eden 56 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür._x000B_Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Serin, Bulut Serin & Saygılı (2010) tarafından I. Kademe öğrencilerine yönelik geliştirile ?Çocuklar İçin Problem Çözme Envanteri?, ?Öğrenme ve Ders Çalışma Strateji Envanteri? ? Fen ve Teknoloji Tutum Ölçeği? ve ?Akademik Başarı Testi? kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmada üst düzey düşünme becerisi verilerinin toplanması için Enger ve Yager (1998) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçeye tercümesi ve güvenirlik çalışması Koray ve arkadaşları (2007) tarafından yapılmış olan ?Bilimsel Süreç Beceri Testi? (BSB) kullanılmıştır._x000B_Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde; aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ile iki grubun ön-test, son-test sonuçlarının karşılaştırılmasında Mann Whitney-U testi ve verilerin normalliği ile öntest puanlarının denkliği sınandıktan sonra deneysel işlemin öncesinde ve sonrasında gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığı kovaryans analizi (ANCOVA) kullanılarak saptanmıştır. Uygulama grubunun kazanç puanlarının hesaplanmasında ise Wilcoxon testi kullanılmıştır. _x000B_Bu araştırmanın sonucunda uygulanan programın öğrencilerin; problem çözme becerilerini, öğrenme ve ders çalışma stratejilerini, bilimsel süreç becerilerini, erişi ve tutumlarını anlamlı düzeyde arttırmada etkili olmadığı görülmüştür. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of educational technologies and material supported science and technology teaching on the problem solving skills, learning and study strategies, science process skills and sucess and attitude of 5th grade primary school students. For this reason the software made for teaching the subjects of ? The World, Sun and Moon? unit of the science and Technology lesson was prepared with the Macromedia Flash 8 program. In this study, the effect of the this software on the problem solving skills, learning strategies, science process skills and sucess and attitude of 5th grade primary school students has been researched._x000B_The Primary School in Keşap, Giresun is the scope of this quasi experimental design study which is suitable fort he ? Pre-test , Post-test control group? model.The participants are 56 studenrs from the classes of Cumhuriyet Primary School of the 2009-2010 academıc year._x000B_For this research, as the data collection device, researchers used ?The Problem Solving Skills Scale?, ?Learning Strategies Scala?, ?Science Sucess and Attitude Scala? that developed by Serin, Serin & Saygılı (2010) for Level I students and the Science Process Skills Scale developt by Enger ve Yager (1998)._x000B_In the analysis of the research data; arithmetic mean, standart deviation, Mann Whitney-U, ANCOVA and Wilcoxon tests was used to compare the pre-test, post-test results of the two groups._x000B_As a result of this research, it has been seben taht the applied program has not a positive influence on the problem solving skills, learning and study strategies, academic achievement, attitude, science process skills perception of 5 Grade Primary School Students in Science and Technology Teaching.
