FEVZİYE MEKTEBİ'NİN 25.YIL KUTLAMALARINDA OKUNAN BİR ŞİİR ÜZERİNE

Abstract

Selanik'te eğitim hayatına başlayan Fevziye Mektepleri Türk eğitim tarihinde önemlibir yer tutmaktadır. Okulun mezunları arasında yakın dönem Türk tarihinde önemli rollerüstlenmiş birçok kişi bulunmaktadır. İttihat ve Terakki Cemiyeti'nin önde gelen birçoküyesi bu okulda görev almıştır. Okulun 1909 yılında kuruluşunun yirmi beşinci yılı etkinliktörenlerinde okunan bir şiir, okulun İttihat ve Terakki kadrolarına nasıl baktığını göstermesibakımından önemli ipuçları vermektedir.The "Fevziye" Schools (Fevziye Mektepleri) which started its educational activitiesfirst in Salonica occupies an important place in the Turkish history of education. Among thealumni of the schools stand several prominen figures of the contemporary Turkish history.Several influential names of the Ottoman Committee of Union and Progress had teachingposts in the schools. A poem read at the 25th anniversary of the schools, in 1909, points outthe instution's perception of the Unionist figures of the era.
