Londra Victoria ve Albert Müzesi'nde bulunan farklı formlarda görülen bazı ajurlu (delikli) seramikler

Abstract

Victoria and Albert Müzesi; sahip olduğu zengin seramik koleksiyonu ve araştırmacılara sunduğu olanaklarla, bu alanda çalışma yapan kişiler için büyük bir önem taşımaktadır. Müzede yaklaşık 3000 adet seramik eser galerilerde sergilenmekte ve yaklaşık 26.000 adet eser de "Seramik Çalışma Galerileri"nde büyük cam depolarda bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; Victoria and Albert Müzesi ve Müzede bulunan koleksiyonlar, ajur tekniğinin tanımı ve tarihçesi, Müzede bulunan farklı formlarda görülen bazı ajur dekorlu seramikler hakkında bilgiler verilmektedir. Victoria and Albert Müzesi'nde bulunan, farklı dönemlerde ve farklı yerlerde üretilmiş birçok ajurlu seramik, formlarına göre gruplandırılarak incelenmiştir. Seramikler formlarına göre; "tabaklar", "kaseler", "kepçeler", "filtreler ve süzgeçler", "maşrapalar, sürahiler ve ibrik", "fincanlar ve zarflar", "buhurdanlıklar", "vazolar ve saksılar" olarak gruplandırılmışlardır. Müzede yaklaşık 700 adet ajur dekorlu seramik tespit edilmiştir. Bu seramiklerin çok benzer olanları ve ajur dekorları geri planda kalanları tezde incelenmemiştir. Tezde yaklaşık olarak 200 adet ajurlu seramik form incelenmiştir. Seramiklerin fotoğraflarının bir kısmı Müzede çekilmiş ve bir kısmı da Müzeden temin edilmiştir.İncelenen ajur dekorlu seramikler, tezde; fotoğrafları, formlarının ve ajur dekorlarının Freehand programı ile yapılan çizimleri, üretildikleri yerler, üretildikleri tarihler, ölçüleri ve müze numaraları gibi bilgilerle beraber tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Tablolar dışında her grupta yeralan birkaç form daha büyük fotoğrafları ve çizimleri, ayrıca teknik ve tanımlayıcı bilgileri ile birlikte sunulmuştur. Tezde; Victoria and Albert Müzesi'nde bulunan, farklı dönemlerde ve yerlerde, farklı malzemelerle üretilen seramiklerde görülen ajur dekorlarının çeşitliliği fotoğraf ve çizimlerle sunularak, bu konuda çalışma yapacak kişilere bir kaynak olması amaçlanmıştır. With its rich ceramic collection and facilities that serves to researchers, Victorian and Albert Museum means highly important to the people who study ceramics. Approximately 3000 pieces works of art are being displayed at the museum and nearly 26000 pieces are exhibited in glass showcases in "Ceramic Study Galleries". In this study; Victoria and Albert Museum, the collections at the museum, definition and history of openwork technique and different forms of ceramics with openwork decoration are explained and information about them is given. A good deal of ceramic with openwork decoration, produced in various places at various times, are classified according to their forms and examined. Ceramics are categorized under the titles of, "plates", "bowls", "ladles", "filters and strainers", "tankards, jugs and ewer", "cups and stands", "censers" and "vases and pots". 700 pieces of pierced decorated ceramics were identified at the museum. Of these ceramics, the ones which are similar and whose pierced decoration remains in the background are analyzed in the dissertation. Approximately 200 pieces of pierced decorated forms are examined in the dissertation. A part of the photographs of the ceramics are taken at the museum, the other part was obtained from the museum. Studied pierced decorated ceramics are submitted in tabular with their form and pierced decorations' drawings by Freehand programme, places of production, dates of production, sizes and museum numbers in the dissertation. Each group,apart from the charts , is submitted with a little bigger form of drawings and pictures along with the technical and descriptive information. The dissertation is aimed to be a source for the people who will work on the same subject by presenting the variety of pierced decoration of ceramics which were produced in different periods, places with different materials with photographs and drawings in Victorian and Albert Museum.
