Abstract

Dünyadaki teknolojik ve bilimsel gelişmelere rağmen, insanoğlunun doğal ortamlara olan ilgisi doğaltaşlara olan talep gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Doğaltaş sektöründe büyük paya sahip olan Türkiye'de üretilen yapıtaşlarından biri olan ve bulunduğu yörenin ismini alan Çan Taşı'dır._x000B_Çan Taşı, değişik boyutlarda sadece elmas disklerle kesilerek, kesilen ürünlerin parlatılmadan el aletleri ile şekillendirilerek veya yontularak ya da, eskitme işlemleri yapılarak cephe kaplaması ve çevre düzenlemelerinde kullanılan bir yapıtaşıdır._x000B_Çan Taşı, sektörün dağınık olması, kısıtlı sermayeye sahip olması, yatırım ve maliyetlerin yüksek olmasından dolayı etüt çalışmalarına önem verilmemekte ve yetersiz bilgi sonucu verimsiz bir şekilde üretilmektedir. Bu gibi sorunlardan dolayı sektör gelişememiş ve üretim ilkel yöntemlerle ve insan gücüne dayalı olarak yapılmaktır._x000B_Bu çalışmada Çan Taşı'nın oluşumu, yapısı ve özelliklerinin belirlenerek uygulanacak üretim ve işleme teknikleri, karşılaşılan sorunlar ve hatalar, bu sorunlara yönelik çözümler ve öneriler, kalite ve ürün standartları, pazar durumu ile ekonomiye sağladığı katkı detaylı bir şekilde anlatılmıştır.
