İzmir Körfezi'nde su kalitesi ve organoklorlu pestisitlerin midye (Mytilus galloprovincialis Lamarck, 1819) dağılımına etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada İzmir Körfezi'ndeki kara midye Mytilus galloprovincialis'de bulunan organoklorlu maddeler araştırılmıştır. Çalışmalar esnasında istasyonlardan toplanan midyelerde organoklorlu pestisit seviyeleri, aynı istasyonlardan eşzamanlı alınan su örneklerinde fizikokimyasal (sıcaklık, iletkenlik, tuzluluk, pH, çözünmüş oksijen, askıda katı madde) ve besin tuzu (fosfat, nitrat, nitrit, amonyum, silikat) parametreleriyle birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Farklı seviyelerde kirliliğin mevcut olduğu istasyonların tümünde pestisitler düşük seviyede tayin edilmiştir. Düşük değerlerde izlenmiş olan organoklorlu pestisitlerin kalitatif ve kantitatif benzerlikleri kümeleme (Cluster) ve Çok Boyutlu Ölçeklenme (MDS) analizleri ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmalarımız sonunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; Mytilus galloprovincialis'in içerdiği organoklorlu pestisit seviyelerinin insan sağlığı açısından bir risk taşımadığı gözlenmiştir. In this study; organochlorine pesticide levels (OCP) in Black Mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis which were found in Izmir Bay were investigated. During the present study, mussels that were collected at stations in Izmir Bay were examined to determine the level of organochlorine pesticide together with physicochemical parameters (temperature, conductivity, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, total suspended solids) and nutrients (phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, silicate) taken at the same stations. Cluster and MDS (Multidimensional scaling) analysis were used for elucidate similarities and/or dissimilarities of organochlorine pesticide levels and to show spatio-temporal differences and driving forces of environmental parameters by using PCA (Principal Components Analysis). According to result of the investigation; only little amount of organochlorine pesticide levels were stabilized in Mytilus galloprovincialis and it is not in dangerous condition for human health by now.
