Abstract:
Bu araştırmanın amacı bilgisayar öğretmenliğinde okuyan öğrencilerin meslekten beklentileri ile alanda çalışan bilgisayar öğretmenlerinin meslekten beklentilerini tespit etmektir. Araştırma Ege ve Dokuz Eylül Üniversitelerinin BÖTE bölümünün 1., 2., 3., ve 4. sınıflarında okuyan öğrencilerini ve İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi sınırları içinde Milli Eğitime bağlı devlet okullarında çalışan BÖTE mezunu 20 bilgisayar öğretmenini kapsamaktadır. Bu araştırmada öğrencilerin bilgisayar öğretmenliğine ve çalışma ortamına dair ne tür beklentilerinin olduğu tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Aynı zamanda alanda çalışan bilgisayar öğretmenlerinin gözüyle bilgisayar öğretmenliğine dair algıları bazı açılardan tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma için araştırmacı tarafından Likert tipi "Mesleki Beklenti Ölçeği" geliştirilmiştir. Aynı zamanda öğretmenlerle görüşmelerde kullanılmak üzere yarı yapılandırılmış "Mesleki Algı Görüşme Formu" gene araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada ölçeğe dair toplanan veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Görüşme formu ile toplanan ses kayıtlarıyla nitel veriler elde edildiği için içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Bununla bağlantılı olarak verilerden genel anlam öbekleri ve temalar çıkartılarak bunların görüşmeler içindeki görülme sıklığına bakılmıştır. Sonuçlar yüzde ve frekans olarak verilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı sorulardan elde edilen veriler, oldukları gibi sözel olarak çeşitli kategorilere ayrılarak sınıflandırılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. The purpose of this research is to identify the expectations of the students studying in computer teaching and the perception of computer teachers working in schools. This research includes the students studying in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Department of Dokuz Eylül and Ege Üniversities and the 20 teachers graduated from the Computer Teaching and Instructional Technologies Department of Universities and working as a computer teacher in the official schools of Ministry of Education. In this research, it is tried to determine what the students expect from the job and the working area. In the same time it is expected to determine how the computer teachers percept their job and working area. For this research, the researcher developed "Job Expection Scale" for the university students and "Job Perception Interview Form" for computer teachers working in the area. The data collected from the scale was analyzed with SPSS programme. The data that is collected by voice records with interview form was analyzed. Content analyses were done as qualitative data was collected for the research. In addition, general meaning groups and themes were sorted out from the data, and their frequecies were determined. The results are given as percentages and frequencies. The data obtained through some questions were categorized verbally and interpreted.
