Hazır Giyim Sektöründe Örgütsel Stres Üzerine Bir Araştırna

Abstract

As known, the textile and apparel sector is the locomotive of Turkish economy. Both its share of 35 % in the export and meeting 11 % of the employment and 10 % of the GSMH alone, as well as collecting 25 % of all industrial investments in its structure, reflects the significance of the sector. Therefore, while affirmative progresses and improvements within the sector causing direct positive affects and result in correcting and maintaining the macro balances in Turkish economy, in the same direction also the negative developments may result in serious hazards in Turkish economy. As known, one of the most important indications of advantage of rivalry in national and international trades is the level of productivity and increase in the productivity. When the apparel sector is considered as a labor-dense sector, the increase in productivity is largely depends on the performance of the employees. Performance levels of the employees are closely related to their working conditions, commitments and their organizational stress levels. In cases where level of organizational stress on the workers is high, their performance reduces, in turn this causes organization's productivity, as well as sector's productivity to reduce, finally results in losses of productivity and competition power in country' s economy. Thus, low level of organization stress should be one of the basic aims of the enterprises. In this study the in is being measured and consequently recommendations are made by making some evaluations. Tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörü bilindiği gibi Türk ekonomisinin lokomotifi niteliğindedir. Gerek ihracattaki %35'lik payı, gerek istihdamın tek basına %11'ini ve GSMH'nın %10'unu karsılaması diğer yandan da toplam sanayi yatırımlarının %25'ini bünyesinde toplaması sektörün önemini yansıtmaktadır. Dolayısı ile sektördeki olumlu gelisme ve iyilesmeler doğrudan Türk ekonomisinin makro dengelerinin korunmasında ve düzelmesinde olumlu etkiler ve sonuçlar doğururken, olumsuz gelismelerde aynı doğrultuda Türk ekonomisine ciddi zararlar verebilmektedir. Bilindiği gibi ulusal ve uluslar arası ticarette rekabet avantajının en önemli göstergelerinden birisi verimlilik düzeyi ve verimlilik artısıdır. Hazır giyim sektörünün emek-yoğun bir sektör olduğu dikkate alındığında verimlilik artısı, büyük oranda çalısanların performansına bağlıdır. Çalısanların performans düzeyi ise onların çalısma kosulları, ise bağlılıkları ve örgütsel stres düzeyi ile yakından iliskilidir. Çalısanların üzerindeki örgütsel stres düzeyinin yüksek olduğu durumlarda, çalısanların performansı düsmekte bu isletmenin verimliliğinin ardından da sektördeki verimliliğin düsmesine ve sonuç olarak ta ülke ekonomisindeki verimlilik kayıplarına ve rekabet gücü kayıplarına neden olmaktadır. Bu nedenle örgütsel stres düzeyinin düsük olması isletmelerin temel hedeflerinden birisi olmalıdır. Bu çalısmada hazır giyim sektöründeki örgütsel düzeyi ölçülmekte ve daha sonrada değerlendirmeler yapılarak önerilerde bulunulmaktadır.
