Yeşil Yönetim ve İşletmeleri ISO 14001 Sertifikası Almaya Yönelten Faktörler

Abstract

Çevre yönetimi ve ekonomik büyüme uygulamalarının birlikteliğini ifade eden yeşil yönetim faaliyetleri, günümüz işletmelerinin başarıları için olmazsa olmaz koşullarından birini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada işletmelerin yeşil yönetime duyarlılıkları ve bu kapsamda işletmeleri ISO 14001 sertifikası almaya yönelten faktörler araştırılmıştır. Çalışma, ISO 14001 sertifikası almış 23 farklı ildeki 71 işletmede gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları işletmeleri ISO 14001 sertifikasını almaya yönelten nedenlerin sırasıyla; çalışanların refahını sağlama, rekabet ve ticari engeller, potansiyel maliyet azaltıcı etki, tepe yönetiminin çevreye duyarlılığı ve yasal zorunluluk olduğunu göstermektedir. İşletmelerin ISO 14001 sertifikasına başvurmalarında diğer bir ifadeyle yeşil yönetime duyarlılıklarında en fazla etkili olan değişkenin tepe yönetimi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. The green management activities, which reflect the union of environment management and economic growth practices, constitute one of the indispensable requirements of success for today's enterprises. Sensitivity of enterprises to green management and the factors that motivate enterprises towards obtaining ISO 14001 certificate have been analyzed in this study which includes 71 separate enterprises in 23 different cities. The results indicate that the reasons which motivate enterprises towards obtaining ISO 14001 certicificate can be ordered from the most important to the least as: providing wealth for employees, competition and commercial obstacles, potential cost cutting effect, sensitivity of the top management to environment and legal obligations. The top management appears to be the factor which affects the decision of application for ISO 14001certificate, in other words, the sensitivity to environment, the most.
