Manu Kanunnamesi'ne göre Hinduizm

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Hindu kutsal metinlerinden Manu Kanunnamesi çerçevesinde Hinduizm'in genel resmini çizmektir. Eser kısaca bireyin dünya hayatını tanzim için kompoze edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra Hinduizm'in ayırt edici uygulamalarından olan kast sistemi de burada ayrıntılı biçimde ele alınır. Çalışmanın giriş kısmında Hinduizm, kutsal metinleri, Manu Kanunnamesi ve eserin önemi ile ilgili genel bilgiler verilmiştir. İlk bölümde tanrı, yaratılış, kurban, kadın, helal-haram, günahlar ve kefaretleri, hayatın dört evresi gibi konular hakkında Manusmriti'de yer aldığı şekliyle bilgiler sunulmuştur. İkinci bölüm ise bu dindeki ve eserdeki yeri ve önemi nedeniyle kast sistemine ayrılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda Manu Kanunnamesi'nin ve Hinduizm' in genel değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Anahtar kavramlar: Manusmriti, Hinduizm, kast, kadın, kurban, aşrama. The aim of the study is outline the Hinduism from the perspective of The Law of Manu which is one of Hindu holy scriptures. The text is precisely composed to regulate the life of individual in this world. Additionally the cast system, which is from the distinctive applications of Hinduism, is also handled in detail. In the introduction part of the study, general information is given about Hinduism, its holy scriptures, The Law of Manu and importance of the text. In the first chapter the information about the subjects such as god, creation, sacrifice, woman, permission-prohibition, crimes and restorations, four stages of life and etc. is presented in the way it takes places in Manusmriti. Second chapter is allocated to the cast system because of its place and importance in the religion and the text. At the end the general evaluation of the text and Hinduism is given.
