Literatürde doğu hellen oryantalizan seramiğinin incelenmesi ve değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Yaban Keçisi Stili'nde seramikler, Doğu Yunan coğrafyasında yüzyıldan uzun bir süre hakim olmuş bir stili temsil eder. Stil, aynı anda hem bu coğrafyanın tümünden gelen katkılarla zenginleşmiş, hem de bu coğrafyanın farklı köşelerinde yerel çeşitlemelerle farklı ekollere ayrılmıştır. Kimi ekoller kolaylıkla fark edilebilirse de, bazılarını saptayabilmek, ancak kimyasal analizler sonucunda mümkün olabilmiştir. Bu tezin amacı, Oryantalizan Seramik üzerine yapılmış çalışmaların oluşturduğu literatürün taranmasıdır. Bu sayede, parça parça incelenmiş olan yerel ekollere yönelik fikirlerinæ bu ekollerin doğuşu, gelişimi ve yayılımı üzerine getirilen teorilerin, bir araya toplanması ve konuya bir bütün halinde bakılabilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Amaç, Oryantalizan Stiller üzerine yeni bir takım fikirler ve öneriler ortaya koymak değil, yaklaşık yüz elli yıldır tartışılan konuların, güncellenmiş bir sunumunu yapmaktır. Konunun arkeoloji dünyasında uzun süredir inceleniyor olması ve üzerine hatırı sayılır miktarda yayın yapılmış olmasından dolayı, kaynak konusunda bir yetersizlikten çok, bir yüksek lisans tezi için tümüyle incelenmesi pek de kolay olmayacak bir külliyattan söz edilebilir. Bu noktada daha önemli ve gerekli gördüklerimizi ayırıp, çalışmamızı bu kaynaklar ekseninde şekillendirdik. Üzerine fazla düşülmemiş konularda yapılmış tüm yayınları değerlendirmekle beraber, hakkında çok fazla yayın yapılmış alanlarda, ancak en kabul görmüş olanları ele aldık. Wild Goat Style represents a long termed tradition that lasts more than a hundred years in Eastern Greek world. This style was enriched by the contributions from all of the Eastern Greek geography, and was diversified into different local variations and schools. Although some schools can easily be identified, some could barely defined by only the chemical analyses. The aim of this study is to make a comprehensive research on the literature about the Orientalising Period Ceramics. Thus, this study intends to sum up the separately discussed ideas about the schoolsæ the birth, improvement and the expansion of them, and to make an inclusive understanding about the subject. The goal is not to produce novel assumptions or suggestions on the Orientalising Styles, but to provide an updated proceeding on the issues being discussed for about one and a half hundred years. Because the topic is a point of research for a long time, and numerous publications were done about the subject, one can talk about the hardness of the library work to be done within the concept of an MA presentation, rather than the lack of knowledge. Herein, the unimportant and unnecessary literature was eliminated, and the thesis was shaped due to the others. Bibliography on specific and unstudied subjects was totally evaluated, while the literature on the common and constantly studied topics was limited to the most accepted and uncontested ones.
