Siyasetname özelliği taşıması yönüyle Ravendi'nin Rahatü's-Sudûr ve Ayetü's-Sürûr'u

Abstract

Ravendi tarafından yazılan Rahatü's-Sudûr ve Âyetü's-Sürûr, Büyük Sel-çuklu ve Irak Selçuklu Devleti tarihiyle ilgili temel kaynaklardan birisidir. Müelli-finin hem Irak Selçukluların son döneminde yaşamış olması ve hem de Selçuklu hükümdarlarının yanında önemli görevler üstlenmesi sebebiyle bu eser, özellikle Irak Selçuklularının zayıflama ve çöküş dönemi hadiseleri bakımından oldukça değerli bilgiler içermekte ve bu yönüyle kıymetli bir kaynak durumundadır. Yine eser, sadece tarihi olayların aktarıldığı bir kitap olmayıp, farklı konu başlıkları ve satır aralarında idari, sosyal ve ahlaki konulara dair verdiği bilgiler bakımından da zengin bir muhtevaya sahiptir. Mamafih eserin muhtevasına bu açıdan bakıldı-ğında onun sadece bir tarih kitabı olmadığı açıkça görülmektedir. Zira kitapta siyaset ve idare işiyle uğraşanlara tavsiyeler ve bilgiler içeren beyitler, atasözleri ve hikayeler, esere zenginlik kattığı gibi, siyasetname özelliği de kazandırmaktadır.Bu bağlamda Ravendi'nin, kitabında, hükümdarların niteliklerinden diğer devlet adamlarının özelliklerine, eğlence meclislerinden hat ve şiir sanatına, dünya hayatının faniliğinden ahiret hayatının bakiliğine kadar çok değişik konulara yer vermesi, eserin daha geniş bir çerçeveden ele alınmasını ve değerlendirilmesini gerektirdiği söylenebilir. Zira eserin üzerinde durduğu mevzulara bakıldığında, bunların bir siyasetnamenin içerdiği konularla benzerlik taşıdığı fark edilmekte-dir. Bu itibarla biz de bu eser üzeri bu gözle değerlendirmek maksadıyla bir çalışma yapmanın doğru olacağını düşündük. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda, eserde ele alınan konulardan hareketle, Rahatü's-Sudûr'un siyasetname özelliklerini ortaya çıkarmaya çalıştık. Çalışmamızın içeriğini belirlerken sadece müellifin eserinde belirlemiş olduğu konu başlıklarıyla iktifa etmedik. Bu mevzular haricin-de, yazarın belli bir konu hakkında kitabın değişik yerlerinde belirttiği görüşleri bütünlük içersinde bir başlık altında toplamaya çalıştık. Böylece eserin zengin içeriğini de ortaya çıkarmaya gayret ettik. Rahatü's-Sudûr and Âyetü's-Sürûr written by Ravendi is one of the basic resources about the history of the Great Seljuq and Irak Seljuq State. Due to the author of it lived both at the last of period of Irak Seljuqs and also served high duties to the Seljuq Emperors, the work is precious especially for the events in the period of weakening and declining of Irak Seljuqs. The work is not only a book in which historical events are told but also, because of the managerial, social and moral information given under several topics and between the lines, has a rich content. In this view, if the content of the work is checked it is possible to see clearly that it is not only a history book. Moreover, the verses, proverbs and stories presented the ones who are busy with management and politics give the work richness and the character of a certificate of politics.Ravendi, takes such a wide range of topics such as the qualities of the leaders and the statesmen, entertainment councils and the art of calligraphy and poetry, the temporariness of wordly life and the reality of the life after death. Consequently, such wideness gives us the chance to evaluate the book on differ-ent aspects. When we focus of the topics of the book, we can see that it can be named a "Siyasetname – Book of Politics". On this thesis, we focused on politi-cal side of it and tried to show the qualities which made us think so. While de-fining the content of our thesis, we have not just included the topics the author defined, except from them, we have collected the author's opinions about an issue and and have combined them to under a new title. Therefore, we also re-vealed the content of richness of the book.
