Son yıllarda yayın etiğine aykırı davranışlarda ciddi bir artış görülmektedir. Bunun temel nedeni özellikle biyomedikal araştırmalardaendüstri yönlendirmesinin artmasıdır. Ancak yapılan her yanlış bilimsel yolsuzluk olmayıp, özensiz araştırmadan ayrılmalıdır. Akademikyolsuzluğu önleme konusunda yasalar yetersiz olmasına karşın, yine de her koşulda mücadele etmek gerekir. There seems a considerable increase in cases against publication ethics. The main reason appears as the sponsorship of the industry, especially in biomedical research. However, all mistakes should not be classified as scientific misconduct and should be differentiated fromsloopy research. Although the law and the acts are insufficient to prevent scientific misconduct, at least exposition of the cases aremandatory.

Tükenmişliğeyönelik araştırma tasarımlarının kanıt düzeyi yüksek, deneysel ve uzunlamasına olması önerilir.
