Abstract

17.yüzyılda İngiltere'de küçük bir atölye ile üretimine başlayan Wedgwood, seramik dünyasına kattığı eşsiz ürünler ile günümüzde de halen üretimine devam etmektedir. Wedgwood seramiklerinin başarısının kaynağını araştırmacı, yenilikçi düşünce ruhu ve daima yetenekli sanatçılarla birlikte çalışma prensibi oluşturmaktadır. Temel üretimi sofra eşyaları olmasına karşın dekoratif ürünler de üretilmiştir. Yaklaşık iki yüz elli yıldır kaliteli üretimden ödün vermeden, ticaret ve sanat hayatını sürdürmektedir. Starting with the production of a small workshop in England in the 17th century, Wedgwood still continues ceramic production today with unique products that adds to the world of ceramic. The source of the success of Wedgwood ceramics is research, innovative thinking and the spirit and principle of always working with talented artists. Although the basic production is tableware, decorative products were also produced. About two hundred and fifty years, without sacrificing quality production, trade and art life has been continuing.
