Postmodern süreçte fotoğraf sanatında çıplak beden kullanımı

Abstract

Postmodern sürecin fotoğraf sanatında çıplak beden kullanımına olan etkilerinin araştırıldığı tezde, postmodernizm teorisi ile gündeme gelen söylemlerin, çıplak beden üzerine olan yansımalarının belirlenmesi gerektiği düşüncesiyle yola çıkılmıştır. Bu bağlamda öncelikle bedenin, birey ve kimlikle olan ilişkisi saptanmış, çıplak bedenin toplumsal açıdan algılanışı cinsellik, erotizm ve pornografi kavramları çerçevesinde belirlenmiştir. Çıplak bedenin sanat yapıtı ile olan ilişkisi Antik Yunan sanatı, Orta Çağ ve Rönesans döneminde ortaya çıkan önemli sanat yapıtları ışığında incelenmiştir. Sanat yapıtlarının, döneme hakim olan din, iktidar ve ahlaki görüşler çerçevesinde şekillendiği saptanmıştır. Postmodern teorinin daha iyi anlaşılması için Modernizmin ekonomik, kültürel ve toplumsal yapılanması ortaya konarak, bu yapılanmanın sanat eseri üzerinde olan etkileri araştırılmıştır. Modern sanatın yapısal özellikleri belirlenerek fotoğraf içerisinde çıplak beden kullanımına dair örnekler incelenmiştir. Modernizmi oluşturan sanat akımlarının etkisindeki fotoğraf sanatı içerisinde, çıplak beden kullanımı ve estetik gelişimi incelenmiştir. Batı toplumlarındaki teknolojik, ekonomik, kültürel değişimlerin bir sonucu olarak Modernizmin tartışılmaya başlaması ve farklı bir yaklaşımla yapıbozumuna uğratılması sonucu hayat bulan postmodernist teori ve sanata olan etkileri, postmodernizmi tanımlayan kodlar ve çıkış noktaları belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda eserlerinde çıplak bedene yer veren ve postmodern olarak nitelenen sanatçıların vizyonları, estetik görüşleri; toplumsal değişimlerin yansımaları göz önünde bulundurularak incelenmiştir. The effects of Postmodernism process on the use of nude body have been inquired in the thesis. It was set out with the idea of determining the reflection of speeches, which was revived with the theory of post-modernism, on nude body. In this context, initially the relationship between body and individual, identity was established and then the perception of nude body in the society has been determined within the framework of sextuality, erotism and pornography concepts. The connection between artistic work and nude body has been examined in light of the Ancient Greek Art and the remarkable works of art which were produced in the Medieval Period and Renaissance. It has been found out that the works of art were shaped with the view of religion, rulership and moral thought of the period. In order to be understood well, it displays the economic, cultural and social structure of Modernism and the impact of this structure on works of art have been examined. The samples of photos which include nude body in it have been analysed by identifying the structural features of modern art. Using the nude body and its easthetic development has been analysed via the photography art which is effected by the artistic movements of Modernism. As a result of the cultural, economic and technological changes, Modernism started to be discussed and because of the corruption in its structure, Postmodernist theory occured. In the thesis, Postmodernist theory, its effects on art, the codes which defines postmodernism and originating points have been identified. In this concept, the vision of the artists who are called postmodernist and who used nude body in their works, their easthetic views have been studied by taking into consideration the reflections of social changes.
