Farklı enine kesit şekillerinde üretilen kimyasal liflerin yapısal davranışları ve kullanım özelliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Kimyasal lifler çoğunlukla dairesel enine kesite sahip olacak şekilde üretilmektedirler. Bunun yanı sıra farklı enine kesit şekillerine sahip kimyasal liflerin üretimi de mevcuttur. Kimyasal liflerin enine kesit şeklinin değiştirilmesi liflerin bir takım özelliklerinde değişime neden olabilmektedir. Dolayısı ile lif enine kesit şeklinin değiştirilmesinin liflerin hangi özelliklerini hangi yönde etkileyeceğini bilmek önemli bir hal almaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada kimyasal liflerin enine kesit şekillerinin, liflerin bazı yapısal ve kullanım özellikleri üzerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Tez kapsamında, laboratuar tipi lif çekim makinelerinde farklı enine kesitteki polipropilen, polyester ve kompozit polipropilen liflerinin üretimi sağlanmıştır. Chemical fibers are mostly produced in circular cross sectional shapes. Besides, the production of fibers having different cross sections is existing. The change in the cross sectional shapes of the fibers can cause some differences on the properties of the fibers. For this reason, it becomes important to know how the fiber properties change related to cross sectional shapes. As a result, in this research, the influence of the change in the cross section to the some of the structural and in-use properties of chemical fibers is evaluated. Within the context of this thesis, different cross sectional shaped polypropylene, polyester and composite polypropylene fibers have been produced using laboratory type spinning machines.
