İlköğretim kurumlarında şiddetin nedenleri ve önlenmesine ilişkin yönetici ve öğretmen görüşleri(İzmir ili metropol ilçeleri örneği)

Abstract

Bu araştırma ilköğretim kurumlarında görülen şiddetin nedenleri ve önlenmesine ilişkin yönetici ve öğretmen görüşlerini tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. İlköğretim kurumlarında çalışan yönetici ve öğretmenlerin konuyla ilgili görüşlerinin yaş, cinsiyet, meslekteki kıdem, mezun olduğu okul türü, görev yaptığı kademe gibi değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu farklılık tespit edilirken araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "İlköğretim Kurumlarında Görülen Şiddetin Nedenleri" ve "İlköğretim Kurumlarında Görülen Şiddetin Önlenmesi "ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları aşağıdaki gibidir. İlköğretim kurumlarında çalışan yöneticilerin şiddetin nedenlerine ve şiddetin önlenmesine ilişkin algıları öğretmenlerinkinden düşüktür. Öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, mezun oldukları okul türü, meslekteki toplam hizmet sürelerine göre şiddetin nedenlerine ilişkin algılarında fark önemli bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin yaş, mezun olduğu okul türü ve meslekteki toplam hizmet süresine göre şiddetin önlenmesine ilişkin algılarındaki fark önemli bulunmuştur. Yöneticilerin çalıştıkları kademe, mezun olduğu okul türüne göre şiddetin nedenlerine ilişkin algılarındaki fark önemli bulunmuştur. Yöneticilerin sadece mezun oldukları okul türüne göre şiddetin önlenmesine ilişkin algıları önemli bulunmuştur. Yönetici ve öğretmenlerin şiddetin nedenleri ve şiddetin önlenmesine ilişkin algılarındaki fark önemli bulunmuştur. This research investigated the princibles and teachers point of view opinions about violence reasons and to prevent the violence which shown in the primary school. The research sample consisted 81 principals and 219 teachers totally 300 persons, working in the primary school in the metropolitaan area of İzmir in 2007-2008.Research is in the scannig model. "Personal Data Form" , "The Reasons of Violence in The Primary Schools" and "To Prevent the Violence in the Primary Schools" were used to collect the data for the research.The questions were improved by the researcher.Nine questions were answered in the research. Our questionare evauation was analysed and interpreted is SPSS statictic program. The results of the research are summarized below. Principles' scorres for the reason of violence and to prevent the violence are faller than teachers'.Teachers' scores for the reasons of violence variables as gender , age, educational level, the duration of the teaching service result in significant effects. Teachers' scores for the prevent the violence variables as age, educational level, the duration of the teaching service result in significant effects. Principles' scores for the reasons of violence variables as educational level and working level result in significant effects. The research has shown that there is a significant correlation between the perceptions of both principles and teachers' perceptions concerning reason of violence and prevent the violence.
