Konuşma eğitimine yönelik kitapların ses bilgisel ve ses bilimsel görünümleri üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Konuşma, düşünceleri sözlü dil yoluyla dinleyiciye aktarma işidir. Teknolojinin ilerlemesiyle insanoğluna çok çeşitli iletişim seçenekleri sunulsa da konuşma hala en önemli, en pratik, en yaygın iletişim aracıdır. Konuşma düşünceleri ifade etme, iletişim kurma gibi bireysel eylemlerin yanı sıra kitleleri etkileme gücüyle toplumsal bir nitelik taşır. Etkili bir konuşmayla düşünürler, bilim insanları, liderler, öğretmenler gibi öncü meslek grupları geleceğe ışık tutmuşlardır. Bu açıdan bakıldığında güzel ve etkili konuşmanın önemi anlaşılmaktadır._x000B_Güzel ve etkili bir konuşma, bu alanda yeterlilik kazanmaya bağlıdır. Bu yeterlilik ancak konuşma eğitimi ile kazanılabilir. Konuşma eğitiminde en önemli kaynak bu alanda yazılmış kitaplardır. Konuşma eğitiminin olmazsa olmazı doğru sesletimdir. Doğru bir sesletime sahip olmak için dilin seslerini ve bu sesler arasındaki etkileşime dair kuralları iyi bilmek gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle konuşma eğitimine yönelik kitaplar ses özelliklerini temel alarak okuyuculara doğru boğumlamayı öğretmelidir. Fakat bu noktada kitaplar arasında ciddi görüş ayrılıkları bulunmaktadır. Bu görüş ayrılıklarından yol çıkılarak çalışma Türkçenin doğru telaffuzu konusundaki belirsizliğe dikkat çekmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır._x000B_Çalışmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Ses bilgisi-ses bilim ile diksiyon alanını en iyi yansıttığı varsayılan kitaplar mercek altına alınmış ve bir karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara bakıldığında ses bilgisi-ses bilim kitapları ile konuşma eğitimi kitapları arasında ünlü, ünsüz ve ses olayları açısından bir adlandırma ve gruplama birliği olmadığı görülmüştür. Ünlülerin gruplanmasında ses ve konuşma eğitimi kaynakları arasında önemli bir farklılık görülmezken ünsüzlerde adlandırma ve gruplama açısından bazı farklılıklar dikkati çekmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra ses bilgisi ve ses bilime yönelik kitaplar konuşma dilindeki ses değişimlerini olağan karşılarken konuşma eğitimine yönelik kitaplar bu durumu bir söyleyiş kusuru olarak nitelendirmiştir. Konuşma eğitimi kitaplarının Türkçenin ses özelliklerini vermede yetersiz kaldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır._x000B_Bu sonuç doğrultusunda, çalışmanın konuşma eğitimine yönelik kitapların hazırlanmasına ve bu alanda yapılacak akademik çalışmalara ışık tutacağı düşünülmektedir Speech is transmission of thoughts to the listener through oral language. Although communication options in a wide variety has become available for humanity with the development in technology, the speech is still the most practical, the most common communication tool. The speech has a social quality with the power to influence the masses as well as its other functions such as expressing of thoughts and communicating. The pioneering occupational groups such as philosophers, scientists, leaders and teachers has enlighted the future with an effective speech._x000B_Fluent and effective speech depends on gaining capability in this area. This capability can only be gained with elocution. The books in this area are the most important sources for elocution. To have a correct pronunciation, sounds of language and rules about interaction among these sounds should be well known. So, books for elocution should teach correct pronunciation to the readers based on sound properties. However, there are essential dissensions among books about this subject. Considering these dissensions, this work has been prepared to draw attention to the uncertainty about correct use of Turkish._x000B_In this study, the model of descriptive scan was used. The books which were supposed to explain ideally phonetic guide-phonology and the area of elocution were carefully analyzed and compared. When the findings were examined, it was understood that there was not a naming and classification unity from the point of vowel, consonant and sound events between the books of phonetic guide-phonology and elocution. On the other hand, the books of elocution describe that phonetic change is a pronunciation mistake while the books of phonetic guide-phonology defend that it is acceptable. Additionally, when the books of elocution were compared with eachother, it was realized that different pronunciations were accepted as correct for a word and it was concluded that the books of elocution were insufficient in terms of explaining ideally the sound properties of Turkish. Considering this result, it is thought that this work will enlighten the preparation of books about elocutin and academic studies in this area.
