68 KUŞAĞI GENÇLİK OLAYLARININ ULUSLARARASI BOYUTU VE TÜRKİYE'DE 68 KUŞAĞINA GÖRE ATATÜRK VE ATATÜRKÇÜLÜK ANLAYIŞI

Abstract

Dünya tarihinde, meydana gelen olaylar kısa süre içerisinde olup bitmesine rağmen, kendisinden sonraki zamanları; toplumsal, siyasal, ekonomik ve kültürel bakımdan etkileyen olaylar, devrim niteliği taşıyan değişimler kapsamında değerlendirilir. Bunların bazıları üretim ilişkilerinde köklü değişimlere yol açmasa da siyasal yönelimleri, ideolojileri, kültürel yaşamı değiştirir; yeni açılımlara zemin hazırlar ve buna daha hızlı bir ivme kazandırır. 1968 yılındaki öğrenci olayları ve bu tarihle simgelenen 68 kuşağı, dünya tarihinde, bu özelliklere sahip olayların bir arada ve yoğun olarak yaşandığı bir dönem olarak da tarihe geçmiştir. Türkiye'de hareket, 1960'lı yıllarda Demokrat Parti uygulamalarına karşı başladı ve özellikle öğrenci hareketinin muhalefetiyle hız kazanarak devam etti. 27 Mayıs öncesinde Türkiye'de çok yaygın gençlik hareketleri yaşanmaktaydı. Ülkemizde 68 kuşağı devrimci gençlik eylemleri, Avrupa'daki olaylardan farklı olarak kendisine tarihi bir miras seçti: "Türk Kurtuluş Savaşı ve Atatürk" Avrupa'da ve Amerika'da olmayan bir dayanak. Bunun içindir ki gençlik eylemlerinin talepleri de, sloganları da oldukça farklıydı. In the history of the world, although the events that have happened end up in a short time, those affecting the periods after themselves in terms of society, economy, culture and politics are evaluated in the scope of changes having the characteristic of revolution. Even if some of those have not brought about drastic changes in the production relations, their political tendencies and ideologies change the cultural life. They pave the way for new openings and accelerate them. The student incidents in 1968 and the 68 generation symbolized with this date went down in history also as a period when the events having these sorts of features were experienced extensively and alltogether. The movement in Turkey started against the applications of the Democrat Party in 1960s and continued gaining speed especially with the opposition of the student movement. Before 27 May, youth movements were widely seen in Turkey. Unlike the events in Europe, in our country the revolutionary youth protests of the 68 generation chose a heritage for itself: "Turkish War of Liberation and Ataturk", a base which has no existence in Europe and America. Therefore, the demands and slogans of the youth protests were very different.
