Çocuğun Ağrısının Yönetiminde Pediatri Hemşiresinin Karar Vermesini Etkileyen Faktörler

Abstract

Kanserli çocuklarda ağrı en önemli sorunlardan birisidir. Ağrı uygun şekilde tedavi edilemezse fizyolojik ve psikolojik yan etkilereneden olmaktadır. Bu yan etkilerin olası zararlarını azaltmak için ağrının doğru şekilde değerlendirilmesi ve tedavi edilmesi çok önemlidir.Ağrısı olan çocuğun hemşirelik bakımına karar vermede etkileyen faktörler literatürde belirtilmektedir. Karar verme hemşirenin önemlirollerinden biridir. Hemşirenin hastanın sorunlarının hasta için anlamını belirlemesine ve bu sorunları ortadan kaldıracak hemşirelikgirişimlerini belirlemesine yardımcı olur. Çocuğu ağrısının değerlendirilmesi ve tedavisinde en çok etkili olan faktörler hemşireye, hastayave sisteme ilişkin olmak üzere 3 başlık altında toplanmaktadır. Pain is the one of most serious problems in pediatric oncology patients. Pain can have both psychological and physiologicaladverse effects if not appropriately managed. It is of paramount importance to accurately assess and treat pain so as to minimize the potentialdetrimental adverse effects. The factors that influence the decision-making process in the nursing care of children in pain have beenextensively reported in the literature. Decision-making is an important aspect of the nursing role as it helps to describe how nurses assignmeaning to patient problems and identify nursing activities that will ameliorate or minimise problems. The most frequently cited factorsinfluencing the assessment and management of pain in children can be grouped into the 3 themes; child-related, nurses- related barriers andsystems-related factors.
