Teori - Araştırma - Bileşeni: Roy'un Uyum Modeli Örneği

Abstract

Giriş: Profesyonel bir disiplinin temelini oluşturan bilim, teori-araştırma sürecinin karşılıklı etkileşimi ile gelişir. Hemşirelik teori ve modellerine temellenen araştırmalar hemşireliğin bilgi birikimine katkıda bulunur. Doktora, bilim felsefesi ilkelerine göre araştırma metodolojisini kullanarak yeni bilgiler üretme aşamasıdır ve hemşirelik doktora tezlerinde teori kullanımı, disiplin için yeni bilgilerin üretilmesinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bir araştırmada teorinin nasıl kullanılacağı ise tüm araştırmacılar için açık değildir. Teori temelli araştırmalarda teorinin nasıl kullanılacağına ilişkin geliştirilen rehber, bu noktada araştırmacılara yol gösterici olmuştur. Bu rehberde teori/model kullanımı; a) kavramsal modelin içeriğinin öğrenilmesi, b) araştırma ve uygulamalarda model kullanımına ilişkin ayrıntılı literatür incelemesi, c) araştırma konusuna ilişkin kavramsal-teorik-deneysel yapının oluşturulması ve ilişkilendirilmesi olarak üç adımda özetlenmiştir. Bu makalede, hemşirelik araştırmacılarına örnek olması için doktora tezinin Roy Uyum Modeli'ne göre temellendirilmesi, kavramsal-teorik-deneysel yapısının oluşturulması ve ilişkilendirilmesi sürecini açıklamak amaçlanmıştır  Introduction: Science that is formed the basis of a professional discipline develops the interaction of theory and research process. The reseraches that based upon nursing theories and models is contribute to the nursing knowledge. Doctorate is stage of generating new information according to the principles of philosophy of science by using research methodology and using the theory in the nursing doctoral dissertations is an important to produce new knowledge for the discipline. But it is not clear for all researchers how to use the theory in a study. The guide, which developed to show how a theory uses in a theory-based research, has been guiding for researchers at this point. In this guide, using to theory summarized in three steps as a. learning the content of the conceptual model, b. a detailed review of literature about the use of the model in the research or practice, c. creating and associating of a conceptual-theoretical-empirical structure for research topics. In this article, it is aimed to describe how a doctoral dissertation could be based upon Roy's Adaptation Model, the process of creating and associating the conceptual-theoritical-experimantal structure for illustration to nursing researchers
