RAVZAHÂNLIK ÂDETİ VE KERBELÂ OLAYININ TAHRİFİNDEKİ ROLÜ

Abstract

Ravzahanlık geleneği, Şii coğrafyada Hz. Hüseyin ve diğer şehitlerin hatırasını canlı tutma ritüelidir. Adını da bu konuda Hüseyin Vaiz Kaşifi'nin(v. 908/1502-3) kaleme almış olduğu bir başyapıt olan Ravzatü'ş-Şüheda adlı eserden almaktadır. Bu eser, Muharrem ayının ilk on günü her yerde okunurken sonradan Safer ayında ve nihayet tüm sene boyu okunur olmuştur. Günümüzde bu ana metin bırakılmış, okuyan kişinin, kişisel maharetlerini gösterip olayı çarpıttığı bir okuma olmuştur. Bu makalede kerbela olayının nasıl tahrif edildiğini de okuyacaksınız. Rawdakhwani is Shii Persian mourning ritual commemorating the suffering and martyrdom of Imam Husayn and other Shii martyrs. The name of this public lamentation is derived from the title of a literary masterpiece called Rawdat al-Shuhada (The Garden of the Martyrs). This book, written in Persian but under an Arabic title, was composed by Husayn Waiz Kashifi. Originally, it was customary to recite or chant a chapter from The Garden of the Martyrs in public each day during the first ten days of the month of Muharram. Gradually, it was staged during the whole month of Muharram and the following month of Safar, eventually to be performed all year round. Today, the original text has been almost abandoned as each person who does the recitation tries his own creative skills in conjuring up the story.
