ŞÂİR BİR OSMANLI HATTATI: EОRİKAPILI MEHMED RASİM

Abstract

Mehmed Rasim XVII. yy'ın ikinci yarısı ile XVIII. asrın ilk yarısında, Osmanlının payitahtı İstanbul'da yaşamış önemli hattatlardan biridir. Hat sanatını sadece bir hobi olarak değil bizzat resmi devlet hizmeti olarak icra etmiştir. Mehmed Rasim meşhur bir hattat olması yanında iyi de bir şairdir. Ne var ki onun hattatlığı edebi yönünü gölgede bırakmıştır. Bu nedenle bugüne kadar hattatlığı üzerinde durulmuş fakat edebiyatçılığına değinilmemiştir. Bu çalışmada hem dönemin edebiyat kaynaklarından hem de Mehmed Rasim'in edebi eserlerinden istifade edilerek onun edebi yönü ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Mehmed Rasim is one of the important calligrapher lived in the Ottoman capital of Istanbul with the second half of seventeenth century and first half of eighteenth century. Mehmed Rasim line art not only as a hobby has conducted himself as an official state function. In addition to being a famous calligrapher Mehmed Rasim also a good poet. But his calligrapherhood owershadowed his literary aspect. For this reason, until now focused on his calligraphy but not mentioned his aspect of literature. In this study, both the literature of the period were benefiting from the works of literary sources, as well as its literary aspect of Mehmed Rasim tried to expose.
