Abstract

Bu araştırmada İslam'da ve Yahudilik'te yasak ağaçtan yemenin arkasından gelişen olaylar ele alınmaktadır. Bu çerçevede, önce Şeytan/Yılan, Havva ve Adem'e verilen cezalar gözden geçirilmekte, arkasından Adem ve Havva'nın Cennet/Eden'den çıkarılış süreci incelenmektedir. Daha sonra da Adem ve Havva'nın tövbeleri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonunda her iki din arasında karşılaştırmalar yapılarak, benzer ve farklı yönler ortaya konulmakta, benzerliklerden hareketle de her iki din arasında ilişki kurulmaktadır. The present research deals with the events that have occured in the wake of fall and mans' sin of eating from the forbidden tree in Islam and Judaism. In this context, by evaluating primarily of the penalties given to the Serpent, Eve and Adam, the process that led to the removal of Adam and Eve from the Paradise. Then, the repentance of Adam and Eve is discussed. Finally the similariti1es and differences between the two religious traditions in terms of their approaches to the question of man's fall from divine grace are compared in order to determine these two realigions mutual relations and interactions on the subject.
