Bandırma'nın Girişimcilik Potansiyelinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Girisimcilik konusu son yıllarda genel ve özellikle bölgesel kalkınmanın gelistirilmesinde önemli bir yer tutmakta, bazen de tek strateji olarak hem yönetimlerin hem de akademik çevrelerin ilgisini çekmektedir. Bu baglamda çalısmada Balıkesir li Bandırma lçesi'nde gerçeklestirilen bir alan arastırmasına dayanılarak Bandırma'nın girisimcilik potansiyeli ile bu konuda yasanan sorunlar ortaya koyulmaya çalısılmıstır. Çalısma kapsamında, Bandırma'da faaliyet gösteren 50-250 çalısanı olan 100 adet isletmeye ulasılarak anket yöntemi ile veri toplanmıstır. Söz konusu 100 isletmenin 49'undan cevap alınmıstır. Ulasılan bulgular, girisimciligin gelistirilmesi baglamında Bandırma'nın mevcut ticari ve mesleki altyapısının ve girisimcilere ihtiyaç duydukları ve duyabilecekleri mesleki ve teknik alanlarda danısmanlık hizmeti saglayacak kurulusların yeterli olmadıgını, söz konusu hizmetleri isletmelerin kendi baslarına temin ettiklerini göstermektedir. Girisimciligi gelistirmeye yönelik faaliyetlerin koordinasyon içinde yürütülmesi hem alınan hizmetlerin kalitesini hem de Bandırma'nın girisimcilik potansiyelini arttıracaktır. In recent years entrepreneurship has been taking the attentions of both academicians and governments as being an important or sometimes the only strategy for local and general development. In this respect, this paper, based on a field work which was conducted in Bandırma – a district of Balıkesir Province - tries to put for consideration the entrepreneurship potention of Bandırma and the issues as to this matter and as a conclusion, in light of the findings of the said field work, attempts to offer suggestions as to the determined issues. In the scope of this paper, a hundred of enterprises which employ 50-250 employees were reached and relevant data were gathered via survey method. Fortynine of the said hundred enterprises responded to the survey. The attained findings demonstrate that in respect of the improvement of entrepreneurship in Bandırma, there is inadequacy in the current commercial and proffessional infrastructure and the number of consulting firms which can serve the necessary proffesional and technical consultancy to the enterprises, the findings also demonstrate that the enterprises are gathering the said services by themselves. The coordination of activities aiming the improvement of entrepreneurship will advance the quality of the commercial and proffessional services and also the entrepreneurship potential of Bandırma.
