Altı Sigma Proje Seçim Yöntemleri ve Bir Hastanede Uygulanması

Abstract

Üretim sektöründe geniş kullanım alanı bulan Altı Sigma yöntemi, hizmet sektöründe deson yıllarda başarılı bir şekilde kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Özellikle bankacılık vesigortacılık sektörlerinde yaygın kullanıma sahip Altı Sigma yöntemi, sağlıkişletmelerinde de hem dünyada hem de ülkemizde kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Hizmetsektörünün bileşenlerinin ölçümü, üretim sektörlerinde olduğu gibi kolay olmamaklabirlikte, yeni yaklaşımlar ile yaşanan zorluklar aşılabilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı,hizmet sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir hastanede iyileştirilmek için belirlenen AltıSigma projelerinin doğru bir şekilde seçilmesine imkan verecek yöntemleriuygulayabilmek ve sonuçlarını değerlendirmektir. Bu amaçla çalışmanın teorikkısmında, Altı Sigma ve rolleri ile Altı Sigma proje seçiminde yaygın olarak kullanılanyöntemler açıklanmıştır. Uygulama kısmında, ilk olarak hastanenin müşteriler içinönem taşıyan kritik kalite karakteristikleri (CTQ) belirlenmiş ve temel hizmet haritasıSIPOC oluşturulmuştur. Sonra teorik kısımda anlatılan üç proje seçim tekniği,belirlenen üç projenin seçimi için uygulanmış ve sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Six sigma method is widely used for the manufacturing sector, the service industry isalso being used successfully in recent years. Especially in the banking and insurancesectors, six sigma method is widely used, both in our country and the world began to beused in health care establishments. Measurement of the components of the servicesector as well as the manufacturing sector is not easy, but the difficulties can beovercome with new approaches. The purpose of this study, the service sector, a hospitalwill allow the selection of the correct methods of six sigma projects to implement and evaluate the results. Theoretical part of the study, the roles of six sigma and six sigmaproject selection methods commonly used are described. In the application part, be thefirst hospital in critical quality characteristics that are important to customers (CTQ)and the basic service set SIPOC map was created. After three project selectiontechnique applied for the selection of projects and the results were compared.
