Sağlık Sektöründe Bilgi Sistemleri

Abstract

Bu makalede, diğer birçok ülkede olduğu gibi ülkemizde de sağlık sektöründeki yöneticilerin veri toplama ve bilgi akışı yetersizliğinden dolayı yaşadıkları ortak sorunlar irdelenecek ve bu sorunların giderilmesinde bilgi sistemlerinin stratejik önemi, Türkiyede Ulusal Sağlık Politikası'nın ana reformlarından biri olarak geliştirilmekte olan Sağlık Enformasyon Sistemi (SES) açısından incelenecektir. Bilgi sistemlerinin sunduğu imkanlar SES çerçevesinde vurgulanacaktır.

ABSTRACT This paper reviews the common deficiencies in data collection and information flow faced by managers in the health sector, not only in Turkey but many countries worldwide, and discusses the stratejic role information systems have in solving these problems with reference to the national Health Information System (HIS) developed as part of the health reforms undertaken by the Republic of Turkey. The advantages of leveraging information systems are presented from the HIS prespective.
