Gazali"nin yetkinlik anlayışı

Abstract

İnsan, yaratılış itibariyle evrende yaratılmış canlı-cansız bütün varlıkların en üstünü olarak yaratılmıştır. İnsana verilen bu makam ona akıl ve irade sayesinde olmuştur. İnsanın bu üstünlüğünün elbette bir nedeni olmalıdır. Onun yaratanına karşı sorumlulukları vardır. Bu sorumluluklar da kendin eksiklerini giderme ve kendini tamamlama yolunda verilmiştir. İşte bu nedenle, bu çalışmanın amacı kendini tamamlama ve mükemmelleşme yolunda olan sorumlu insanın Gazali'ye göre neler yapması gerektiğini belirlemektir. Tez bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, insan ve Gazali'ye göre insanın diğer varlıklar arasındaki yeri üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde Gazali'nin ahlak anlayışı ahlak ve yetkinlik ilişkisi, yetkinlik kavramı, teorik ve pratik yetkinlik, yetkinlik-fazilet ilişkisi, hikmet, cesaret, iffet, adalet kavramlarının açıklanması gibi konular üzerinde durulmaya çalıştık. Üçüncü bölümde ise yetkinlik kavramının Tanrı ile insan bağlamını ve tanrı ile insanın yetkinleşmesini, insanın yetkinleşme yolunda nelerden kaçınıp yapması gerektiğini ele aldık. Sonuç bölümünde ise yetkinliğin kişiyi ebedi mutluluğa eriştirecek bir yol olduğunu ve insanın yetkinleşebileceğini Gazali'ye göre tespit etmeyi planlıyoruz. The human attained the position which is given as a gift by the God by using his or her reason. There should be a reason that the God gave us the gift. The human have some responsibilities because of being intellectual. These responsibilities give ordinary man a chance to become a perfect man. Because of that, we aimed to determine what the human need to do to reach his or her ultimate goal, which might be happiness or become a perfect man. We planned to write an introduction and three sections. However we could not write an introduction and last section for now. In the first section, we talked about the human and the position of the human among the other beings according to Ghazali. In the second section, we had an attempt to comprehend the understanding of Ghazali about the ethics and the perfection of man. The impact of virtues, the relationship between virtue and perfection, wisdom, courage, temperance and justice were also told in this section. Besides, in the same section we examined the perfection under two titles. One is the theoretical perfection of humanæ the other is the practical perfection of him or her. In the third section, we have a plan to examine the perfection in the context of the God and the human, the perfection of human, the obstacle on the way of human's perfection. Moreover we will study what the human should and should not do to become a perfect man. In the conclusion, we saw that perfection in reason and behavior will make human reach to his ultimate happiness. Also the perfection is the path which goes to paradise and happiness.
