Fazla mesai uygulamasının işgücü maliyetine etkisi: Sipariş üzerine üretim yapan firma örneği

Abstract

İşletmelerin, hayati fonksiyonlarını yerine getirebilmeleri için, kar ve zarar seviyelerini kontrol altında tutmaları gerekir. Bu yüzden, maliyetlerin tespiti ve analizi çalışmaları büyük öneme sahiptir. İşletmedeki maliyet kalemleri içinde kayda değer yere sahip olan işgücü maliyetinin de doğru yönetilmesi, işletmenin devamlılığı açısından vazgeçilmezdir. Sipariş üzerine üretim yapan firmalarda ise maliyet kontrolü, özellikle özel tasarım ürün imalatı söz konusu olduğunda bir miktar zorlaşmaktadır. İşin niteliğine de bağlı olarak, işletmenin farklı bölümlerinde farklı gecikmeler ile karşılaşılabilmekte ve bu gecikmeler fazla mesai ile telafi edildiğinde, işgücü maliyetini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada, sipariş üzerine üretim yapan firmalarda, yaşanan gecikmeleri telafi etmek amaçlı yapılan fazla mesailerin; işletmedeki bölümler ile ilişkisi ortaya konmaya çalışılacak, ayrıca fazla mesainin sosyal maliyeti araştırılacaktır. Fazla mesai sürelerinin yüklenilen gecikme cezaları ile ilişkisini açıklayan matematiksel model üzerinde durulacak ve uygulamadan elde edilen bulgular aktarılacaktır. The companies should keep control of their profit and loss levels, in order to perform their crucial functions. Because of this, the workouts of detecting and analyzing costs are very important. The labor cost, which takes the most significant role in a company?s cost items, has to be very carefully managed. Moreover, in companies, producing due to orders, controlling cost is a bit more difficult especially when it comes to special-design products. Due to the quality of the work, some latencies may occur in different departments of the company and these latencies may affect labor cost negatively when they are recovered by working overtime. In this thesis, the relations of working overtime in order to recover the latencies in companies, producing due to orders, with the departments will be revealed and in addition to this, the social cost of working overtime will be covered.
