ÜSTÜN YETENEKLİ ÖĞRENCİLERİN ÖĞRENME STİLLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR DURUM ÇALIŞMASI: KAHRAMANMARAŞ İL ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışma 2012-2013 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Kahramanmaraş Bilim ve Sanat Merkezinde öğrenimlerine devam eden 86 üstün yetenekli öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla Grasha ve Riechmann (1982) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçeye uyarlanması Uzuntiryaki, Bilgin ve Geban (2003) tarafından yapılan Öğrenme Stilleri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin bağımsız, işbirlikli, rekabetçi ve katılımcı öğrenme stili düzeyleri yüksek olarak bulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğrencilerin en çok İşbirlikli ve katılımcı öğrenme stillerine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada en yüksek düzeyde pozitif ilişki katılımcı ve bağımlı öğrenme stilleri arasında bulunurken, en yüksek negatif ilişki katılımcı ve pasif öğrenme stilleri arasında bulunmuştur. In this study, it is aimed to determine the learning styles of gifted students. For this purpose, the study was conducted with 86 gifted students continuing their education in Kahramanmaras Science and Art Center in the spring semester of the academic year 2012-2013. Learning Styles Inventory which was developed by Grasha and Riechmann (1982) and later adapted to Turkish by Uzuntiryaki, Bilgin ve Geban (2003) was used to collect data in the research. In the study, gifted students' independent, cooperative, competitive and participatory learning styles levels was found to be high. In addition, it is determined that students have most cooperative and participatory learning styles. In the study, while the highest order positive correlation was between the participant and dependent learning styles, the highest negative correlation was found between the participants and passive learning styles.
